Behind the Last Chance Nance

It was while living in Brazil that Jacyara de Oliveira found her passion for working behind the bar. She's gone on to become a renowned and highly awarded bartender who has opened bars in Chicago and Seattle. Most recently, she was tapped to run the bar at the newly opened Beatnik. Jacyara is also one of the founding members of the Hubertus Circle Chicago chapter.

Behind The Vino Labbra

A Miami native, Carla Rivera has returned to her hometown after working as a bar manager and lead mixologist abroad in Turkey and Cyprus, as well as in Tampa, FL. She's currently bringing her passion for cocktails to Southern Glazers Wine and Spirits as a brand ambassador and mixologist. Prior to that, she was head bartender of Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s renowned modern Chinese restaurant, Hakkasan, where she oversaw the craft cocktail menu and award-winning wine list. Carla plays an active role in the US Bartenders' Guild Miami Chapter and was a top 15 finalist in the US at the Diageo World Class Cocktail Competition in 2014.

Behind the Slippery Slopes

Sother Teague, a former chef, is the current beverage director at Amor y Amargo and Coup in NYC. He's the founder of BATCH, an app for spirits industry professionals and enthusiasts, president of the US Bartenders' Guild NY Chapter, and co-host of The Speakeasy, a podcast from Heritage Radio Network.
