Steva Casey is the Bar Manager of Saturn, a 500-capacity live music venue in Birmingham, AL. Her cocktail recipes and ideas about building drinks have been published in Cosmopolitan magazine,Men’s Journal, and on CNN . When asked to explain her job, she quickly responds that it's mainly about being a good host. With nearly 20 years of service industry experience there, Steva is known as the unofficial Ambassador of Birmingham, who often travels to expand her palate and tell the world the greatness of the city's food and drinking culture. She owns more bottles of Scotch than dresses.
Kevin Diedrich, owner of San Francisco’s Pacific Cocktail Haven (PCH), has been a bartender and mixologist at numerous impressive establishments on both coasts for the last 14 years. After completing the Beverage Alcohol Resource Program in 2009, he opened The Burritt Room (2010) and was named one of San Francisco Chronicle’s “Bar Stars” (2011). Kevin continues to contribute to the Bay Area’s thriving bar scene at the recently opened PCH, where he curates a robust menu of cocktails, as well as spirits and beers from all over the world.
Ryan Maybee—a lifelong bartender with wine, spirits, and mixology expertise—was named 2013 Bartender of the Year by Imbibe Magazine and one of 8 “Fabulous Innovators” by Gaz Regan’s Annual Manual for Bartenders (2011). In addition to his having been a finalist in the Vinos de Jerez Cocktail Competition (2007) and a world-finalist in the Angostura Bitters Global Cocktail Challenge (2012), his original cocktail, the “Smokin’ Choke,” was awarded Innovative Cocktail of the Year by the Institute for Cocktail Excellence (2010). Ryan's creative libations have been featured inFood and Wine, Mutineer Magazine, The New Yorker, Vogue, GQ, Esquire, Vanity Fair, Bartender Magazine, and various other publications.
